I name this star... yours

In the midnight smooth glitter starlight’s secret grin
mummers the hollow held cupped hands of whispers

Bed covers to chin, arms, legs grown entangled resting quiet
eyes lull half-mooned, lids of magenta kissed sunsets

Hearts beat the love-drum melody, ta-tum, ta-tum, ta-tum
never leave, never break this syncopation-elation

Chilled kiss of morning dew fresh lips smear memories
Over all the years that chalked up quickly with persistence

Pick one star to yours its name be identified by me
so, on nights of lonesome hush will a wish be made

Small, with the glitter of daydreams spilling forth
so goes all I harbor dear, till someday it all joins

Kisses and dreams
